They have done a complete turn-around.īy shifting back to Steamworks titles, are these companies experiencing serious revenue issues that they cannot survive without doing so? Why the shift in tone? Or are they simply wanting to tap into more of the PC market and give up their previous ideals? If it is the former, then there is a serious problem with the PC gaming market that needs to be addressed (again). All the services took a stand against Steamworks titles a while back, and now all but Impulse are back to selling them. This type of behavior really has me wondering.
